Gonzo proposes a new opportunity to Val and Reugenio

Val says she'll stay

  

Everyone celebrates Valentina's decision to stay, Mau though very happy,  seems a bit perturbed that Reugenio has his hands all over this special family moment.

  Reugenio has the audacity to say that he's only known her a week or so and now he's moving to another country to be with her.  Val says it all happened so quickly but truth is she has always wanted to work in the hotel that her grandfather Alonso and father Camilo built.  She remembers when she was a child how hard they worked to build it into the best hotel.  They wanted her and Mau to take over one day and now she will follow in their footsteps. Gonzo says she's where she always meant to be.   Val notices Mau standing off alone and she calls him over. Aren't you going to say anything?  Mau tells her that he's very happy that she's decided to return home to the family and to her house.  Gonzo says yes to her home.  He's very happy and not just him but she'll see that other's are happy too.  He calls Chelo, Mica and Beto to join them.

Meanwhile upstairs,  Nuria blows up Felix phone  with text messages asking where he is.  At the same time she hears her Dad calling for the staff and she sits up wondering what's going on.  She's also pissed that Felix is online but won't answer her.

Adriana tries to get Julieta's contact info, but she strikes out.  The administrative clerk tells her that she is not authorized to give out that information, even though Adriana explains that she is a niece that Julieta never knew about.  

Mica is happy that the Virgin and St. Jude answered her prayers and Chelo says finally this house is going to be filled with happiness again.  Nuria who has come downstairs wonders what happiness Chelo is talking about.  Gonzo says Val is staying.  What?  She's not going back to L.A.?  Val says nope, I’m staying Auntie!

Adriana tells Toby she needs to find someone who can help her find her Aunt Julieta.  Do you know anyone?  Well  yeah but it's going to cost  you money.  Adriana says the benjamins are no problem, she's gonna get her inheritance from  her father and pay him for her fake identification.   She wonders how much money Toby is talking about. He says he doesn't know, he'll have to check.  He says it's good to be rich.  Adriana says she never was but now she can't wait to find her aunt and then they can both go back to Spain and forget all about the Murat family.  Toby envies her, he wishes he could just leave and forget all these people in his family too.  Adriana says when she goes he can go with her.  Really? Sure you're helping me, so I'll help you.   Toby is stoked!

Julieta cries as she thinks about Adrian and realizes that she really did kill him.   I never meant to kill you corazon, only her. 

Nuria isn't happy that like the prodigal daughter. Val returns home and everyone is happy but she's not.   Gonzo says that it make him sad that she can't join in and be happy that his grand daughter is home now , but even if she's not  happy, everyone else is.  Especially him.  Raq says the house is Val and Mau's because Ines left it to them.  Nuria says she abandoned it and she can't be under the same roof with Val.  Mau begins to sign and Nuria mocks him, Val interprets and says if Nuria has a problem living here, it's HER problem.  Gonzo says enough and apologizes to Reugenio for the family squabble.

In the kitchen Chelo tells Beto that Nuria isn't happy but she's going to have to get on board because now they're all going to be together.  Beto says they're all going to be together.  He hates to tell her this now but they'll be leaving at the end of the month.  Say what?  The end of the month?  Well whenever they find our replacements.  Chelo thought they has already discussed it they would go when Toby finished school.  Beto says well he changed his mind.  Toby is getting worse under the influences of Nuria.  They have to go asap. Chelo says not now, not when her nina Val has returned home.  She wants to wait and see what they can do to resolve the situation between Toby and Nuria but Beto says nope, his mind is made up. 

Nuria continues to whine about Val moving back.   Val pushes back and says if you got a problem then too bad.  What she won't put up with his Nuria staying in that house and mistreating anyone.  Nuria says she thinks Val came to to take everything away from Nuria.  Val says the one who isn't content is her, she already said her peace.  Play nice or you can find another place to live.  Nuria plays the victim. You see Dad? She's throwing me out.   Val says that's not what I said, I'm just putting the cards on the table.    Nuria goes up to her room.  Gonzo is upset with his daughter.  Mau tells him not to worry, she's not leaving. Where else could she live better than here?  It's just time that someone put a stop to her nonsense.  Gonzo agrees but he also thinks he needs to speak with her.  Val is pleased with herself. 

Upstairs Nuria reminds Gonzo that all Val has done is reject him, where is you dignity and authority?  Now he's putting her in front of Nuria.  Gonzo says no, but why does she act this way against Val.  What has she done?  You know.  No I don't know.  Gonzo realizes now that when she suggested he send Vale away to boarding school it wasn't for  Val's benefit but for Nurias.  She denies it and says it was the school director who made the suggestion and don't blame her for his decisions!   Gonzo chastises her for her treatment and neglect of Mau, she ignores him and hasn't even tried to learn to communicate with him.  Now you plan to do that with Valentina?

Reugenio tells Val not to worry about him.  He's just worried about her, she says no problem she's just glad to be making peace with those she loves. Raq is happy too and says she's going to go help Val unpack.  Val says she can do it, but Raq wants to spoil her granddaughter, it makes her feel good.  Reugenio bids farewell to Val and Mau and says to let them know when their grandfather wants him to start work.  Poor Mau looks like he is holding down the bile.  After he leaves, he asks Val how she feels about staying. She says a bit strange, but she'll adapt. She's going to call Fer to send her things she knows she'll be surprised.  Mau says yes, and she's going to miss Val the way he has all these years.   

Nuria hates having Val there because it reminds her of the baby she had with Leonel all those years ago that died because of Pau and her mother.  Valentina lived because she got care and her baby didn't. That's why! Is that clear?   Gonzo says well you also lost another baby who was born the exact day as Tobias and you don’t have a problem with him.  How can you have a warm relationship with him?  Yup, sniff out those lies that bitch is dropping Gonzo.   Still Gonzo is sympathetic but he tells her not use her pain to justify her bitterness.  He hopes she can make up and realize what it is to value a family.  A family with humility.    All that chest clutching doesn't look good for the Gonz.  Good thing he's not married to Rebecca Murillo (shout out to ECDLP patio)

Almudena gives her bro Alexis a gift.  She's super excited about her new dream gig as head chef at the main hotel   Alexis wonders when her boss will talk to Mr Gonzalo.  She thinks this week because Bernardo has to be in Japan next week. She wonders if Mau and Gonzo will have a problem with her being the chef for just three months until he comes back.  Alexis says no, because Bernardo picked her personally as his replacement.  She's so excited it's a huge opportunity but now she wants to hear about all the stuff that  Alexis said was going on there.  Dish the dirt bro!  These two are a cute bro and sis. 

Angelica comes for a visit and Gonzo tells her his news about Val.  She's happy for him and says she would feel the same if Fer decided to come live with her.  Gonzo says it's because of her and she says no she didn't do anything.   She tells him about her decision to leave her job, especially because she knows he's paying her salary. She thanks him but she can't accept it.  She knows he did it to help her, but she doesn't want to be part of gossip.  Gonzo says don't listen to gossip, but Angelic says she's made up her mind and for Gonzo not to insist.

Adriana hopes that Felix can help her find her aunt.  Tobias says no problem he will make sure that he helps her. They then share the two kisses two times as Fabreezy who is paying the pizza delivery dude, witnesses the whole thing.  Oh he's not happy! 

Gonzo tells Angelica that maybe he can get her a job someplace else.  A job that doesn't depend on him and she will make her own money.  He has lots of contacts.  Angelica says well, she's about to go pound the pavement to look for a job, so if he wants to throw some crumbs down along the way she's okay with it.  Plus she wants to stay in Cancun.  Gonzo says he's oh so happy and he wants her to send him her resume.  Angelica says if he's certain she'll have a job she's going to go back to the city and get her things and wrap up some loose ends.  Gonzo says perfect, he's going to get her some options lined up and she's to call hi when she returns.  Oh I see the gleam in their eyes.     

Nuria shows up like a private investigator at Felix place. She pounds on his door and he comes out with a phone to his  ear but quickly hides it.  What's up girl? I came because you haven't been answering my calls.  Don't you know who I THINK I am?  Hey woah baby girl, I don’t dig pressuring, k?  I lost my cell and if you're pressed about that, then we need to cut this engine now.  Nuria says she's not in a bad mood, he just has no clue what she's going through.  Where did you lose your phone?  Someplace when I was caring for my mom who doesn't exist.  Oh well you have to have one so I can make my booty calls to you.  Well where am I supposed to get one, I haven't no dollas.  No problem I'll buy you one.  Okay and then you can take me for some che-litos (cold beers) and pour out your woes to me.  Felix schmoozes her with kisses and compliments.  Then goes to get dressed. 

Val promises Angelica that she'll get Fer back for Mau's campaign launch. Angelica thanks them all before leaving. Mau tells her not to worry about her job, the three of them will help her find the best one.   Gonzo walks his new crush out as Chelo comes in panicked.  She tells Mau and Val that they need to help her.  Why?  Because Beto wants to move out and he says no on will change his mind, but you have to help me change it.   Bad move Chelo.  They ask why he wants to move.

Monica comes home looking quite stylish after some shopping and a stop at the market. Cutie pie Alan tells her has some news and won't be covering up for his brother anymore.  It turns out Rene doesn't live in Vegas anymore he's been in L.A. since her birthday.  Monica is stressed and wonders when Rene will grow up and stop getting into problems and trouble. 

Beto gives Gonzo the news that he needs to find replacements for him and his wife asap, because they'll be leaving soon.  Gonzo wants to know what has brought about such a rash decision.  Beto asks his boss please not ask him that question.  Why?  Beto says he can't speak about it, but he just wants Gonzo to keep it to himself.  Beto is going to tell Tobias they are gong on vacation or a few days, but the truth is they won't be coming back.

Felix  takes his over dressed sugar mama to a cantina. He has the manners of a scrub and she has to remind him to pull the chair out for her.  He doesn't get what the big deal is with her and Val.  Why not just buy your own place?  You've got money.  What and live by myself? Yeah, I do and it's not a problem.  Nuria thought he lived with his mother, didn't he have to take care of her last night?  Oh, no she lives in a town nearby.   I'm poor that's why I live at the repair shop. I didn't let you in because there's no room for a queen like you.   He gets down on one knee and suggest that if she had her own apartment…well you know.  They could have their own love nest.   He gives her the deposit for that apartment with some serious kisses.   Oh this guy is goood! 

Reugenio goes to see Leonel who is lounging and reading the newspaper. Are you sure no one saw you? Of course not.   I got the job at the hotel.  Congrats, welcome!  Now it's time to get started on our plan.  Reugenio says he has to wait for his first paycheck.  Leo says oh these poor brats, but look a man without money, isn't a man.   So don't worry dude I can make it rain dollas for you!  Is this enough for you?  Oh plenty for me to spoil my new girlfriend.  Leo cautions him to not do silly kid stuff. He needs to reach Val's heart and really make her fall for him.  That way Gonzo will never expect what they're going to do. It will hurt him deeply!

The cutie couple reunite in the airport.  Alan brought her flowers and everything.  She has no idea how much he missed her. Oh Fer don't break his heart.

Rene says he has waited so long for this moment to take his revenge on Gonzalo Murat for all the humiliation he put them through.  Leo say oh you really don't know that dude, he's always pretended to be an upright man but I know him best.  Although they say he's change.  Rene hopes that's true because it will hurt that much harder.  Rene wants to know why Leo came back.  Gonzo told him it was for revenge but you could have done that without investing in the hotel.  Oh grasshopper you have to learn a lot, revenge has to be tangible.  I came back to take over everything and become the sole owner of this hotel.  That won't be easy.  No but it's not impossible.  Leo tells Rene he also has to find his son that he had with Nuria. He knows she's lying and he won't give that damn disable chick one cent.  Rene wants to know why he wants to find that son, it's not like your dad material.   Leo says you never know and besides he wants to show Nuria and Gonzo that he can have a successor, one he will leave everything to, including their money.   His son will be like him.  Umm..well he's off to a good start Leo and ya'll haven't even met.   Rene says he has to go, after all he has to be loyal to the future father-in-law.  Leo is his enemy now.  Good job kid, you're learning.  Just wait till the old man realize the enemy was right in his own house. He'll have a heart attack!  #Foreboding

Adriana comes in as the family is about sit down to the pizza.   Where did you go? Oh out walking around.  Fabreezy asks if she met anyone while she was out.  Who would I meet?  I don't know anyone here.  She asks Jaime if they can go to the bank tomorrow to take care of her money. He tells her yes, they'll get a saving account and debit card.  She's happy to have her own money to use without needing authorization.  Huh? She's kind of young to have all that money.  Gisela says they need to eat before the pizza gets cold.  Adriana says she needs to go to the bathroom to wash up.  Pretty sure she's going to go text Tobias.  This girl is t.r.o.u.b.l.e. 

Julieta sneaks in to Stealvia's room.  The old gal is sleeping and Julieta steals the keys out of her purse.  She has to find out if Paulina Murat is still alive and so she is going to go to the Murat house.  If she's still alive this will be her last day of life. 

Angelica is leaving when Os stops her. She tells him she quit. Why? She tells him he knew Gonz was paying her wages.  Yes, I did.  He's sorry she's leaving Cancun and they won't see each other anymore. She's says it's best. He stops her again and asks if she spoke to her daughter.  About what?  Os tells her that he spoke to Fer.

Meanwhile Fer tells Alan she will feels so strange without Val.  Al says maybe she'll come back.  Fer doubts it and now more than ever that Reugnio will be working at the same hotel.  Al senses that maybe Fer thinks he took her place in Val's life. No it's just we've lived together since we were six. We've never been apart.  Alan says it had to happen someday but their friendship won't be affected. Besides, she has him now. Awww!  She says yes, it would be awful he wasn't with her. She has so much to tell him about her mom.  She asks Al if she's being selfish in not allowing her mom to rebuild her life with Osvaldo.  Al says a little.  Fer flips it on Al and asks how he would feel if Gonzo wanted to rebuild his life with Al's mom.  Would you be okay with it?  Hmm..that's a toughie.

Gonzo sits in his office and remembers meeting Angelica. He realizes her quitting has hurt.  It surprises him.  She's a good friend and he feels good with her because she doesn't judge him.  Maybe Os is right and I'm not too old to start over and have a partner.   Os is sure holding that left arm.  #NotAgoodsign

Angelic drags Os for talking to her daughter.  Os says it was by accident but she needed to hear his side before judging him. Well it didn’t do any good. So stay away from daughter. Os says okay but on one condition, she has to answer his questions.  Okay?  Why didn't you call me when Clement took your daughter away? Why did you lie to me and tell me you got back with Clement when you didn't?  She tells Os it wasn't a lie that he threatened to take her daughter away if she stayed with Os and her force her to dump him (Os)

Alan says that wouldn't happen. His mom is over his dad and has forgotten all about him.  Fer says well what if they met again and realized they wanted to try again would you accept it?   Alan says it's hard to imagine and there's no comparison. Her mom's reasons for leaving Os are different than his mom's. Fer agrees, his parents don't love each other, but her mom and Os still do.  Alan says that's why she needs to stop inserting herself and putting conditions on her mom.  If they want to try again let them.  Alan tells her if she doesn't want to see Os she doesn't have to, she can't just see her mom.

Angelica continues her story to Os.  Clemente deceived her and took her daughter anyway and warned if she called Os or reached out to him, Clemente would kill him. You believed him?  Yes!  You know how he is.  Angelica tells Os that Clement promised to bring back her daughter if she stayed away fro Os.  So now that you know, please leave me alone.  Os says that they can't let Clement separate them again.  Angelica says she buried Os years ago and forgot the woman she was.  Now that she has her daughter back there is no room for them in each other's lives.   She leaves.

Ileana complains she shouldn't be cooking and Caro shouldn't be working so hard.  Caro says she loves diving.  Ileana says it's one thing to do it for pleasure but another for work.  She wasn't made to be a servant but to be served.  Caro says well here you are serving girl!  Illeana says you watch I'm going to take Leo's proposal and seduce Gonzalo Murat. Really?  Yes, Leo offered me lots of money to a professional call girl.  Caro says that won't be easy to catch the Gonz.  Illeana says that's the challenge.  She has an idea to use Raq.  Caro says they have nothing in common.  No we don't but she's ill and that is what will unite us.  There's a foundation for Alzheimer's and I’m going to volunteer and then get Raq in there.   Wait.. What?  You have to serve there and you just said you didn't want to be a servant to anyone.  Illeana says she'll assist only Raq.  The plan is to become a very close friend and make her way into the Murat house ..the main gate!

Ooh busted!  Monica gets sly and calls Rene from an unknown number. Surprise it's your mami!  Is this the only way I can get you to pick up? Oh hey mom what's up?  Don't play me boy I know you're in L.A.  What are you up to?  This is precisely why I don't answer mom, you always think the worst of me.  Monica doesn’t know what he expects her to think. Where are you? I want to see you right now.  Rene says he doesn't want to see her or hear her complaints.  See that I'm fine? I'm fine..so buh-bye!   Monica is distressed her son isn't a kid anymore but she still worries for him and always will.

She's baaaack!  Julieta walks purposefully across the Murat grounds.  She's going to get inside and see if Paulina is in one of the rooms. If so, that means she fooled Julieta and Adrian is the only who died.  She knows what she saw and it wasn't a ghost at that cemetery.  It was Paulina Murat!  Oh this should be fun!
